CURRENT ISSUE

I hope 2025 has been off to a splendid start. Our year began with our first trade show, Meetings Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa—an extraordinary event where key players in the tourism industry gathered. This business events trade show highlighted the power of collaboration, a pivotal force for driving success across the African continent. Witnessing this synergy inspired me to envision a future where cooperation leads our efforts towards growth and innovation in the tourism sector.

This issue, our first of 2025, is one we are particularly thrilled about. In the spirit of collaboration, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our contributors who helped bring this edition to life. Our feature story explores the new self-catering lodge in Chirundu—Knob Thorn House. This passion project, from its inception to the final luxurious offering, redefines the self-catered safari experience. Paige Pryde transports us to Matusadona National Park, where she discovers the Tashinga Self-Catering Cottages. Her experience there is bound to inspire your next adventure.

The Wilderness Group, embodying the essence of collaboration, has gone above and beyond in their drought assistance efforts in Zambia and Zimbabwe. I hope their story inspires you to make a positive impact this year. With a plethora of articles, we aim to fill your hearts with a passion for travel, food, culture, and conservation as you journey through these pages.
